Teacher’s Day

Teacher’s Day celebrations are undertaken to honor teachers for their sincere efforts to impart knowledge to their students. This day is celebrated to pay tribute to Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice President of the nation. Highlighting on his achievements, Director Principal Mr. Rajeev Garg said that he was a true role model and India’s most influential scholar. Teachers should follow his path and be a guiding light to children.

On this day, school students dressed up like their teachers. Students felicitated their teachers by giving them floral welcome. By celebrating Teacher’s Day, students convey the message that they care for teachers, just as teachers do. Celebrating the festival is the recognition of the devotion, with which, teachers undertake the responsibility of educating a child academically as well as morally. Teachers played various games and had fun. They danced and sang and enjoyed completely.
