A Visit to The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Museum
At Shanti Asiatic School, we believe in the holistic development of the Children. We believe in value for heritage and experienced based learning. Students of Classes IV to VII visited ‘The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Museum’ situated at the City Palace, Jaipur, on 17th November 2014. Students appreciated the heritage value of the Palace, an architectural marvel. The visit also provided an opportunity for the students to travel back in time. They gathered valuable historical information regarding the erstwhile rulers of Jaipur, their achievements and lifestyle. The Museum is home to some priceless artifacts, paintings, carpets, dresses, silverware and armory. It proved to be an educative and enriching experience for the students. Following the same objectives, Students of classes Nursery to III visited ‘Aapno Rajasthan’, a village resort, where they saw glimpses of a village life. A magic show was organized to make the visit more entertaining for our tiny tots.
